On Today’s Talk with Erika… Deputy Brian Donnelly, K9 handler for the Broward Sheriff’s Office and his wife Connie Murphy discuss the 9463 Foundation – a statewide motorcycle ride – in Honor of Sgt. Chris Reyka.
On August 10th, 2007, 51-year-old Sgt. Chris Reyka of the Broward Sheriff’s Office pulled someone over for a traffic stop and was then shot and killed in the parking lot of a Walgreens in Pompano Beach. When deputies arrived on scene, Sgt Reyka was lying there alone. One deputy in particular arrived on scene first. Deputy Brian Donnelly.
